THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE BAKERSFIELD FALCONS

The Bakersfield Falcons just completed their seventh season in the National Public Safety Football Season. They consist of peace officers and firefighters from the following departments and agencies: Wasco State Prison, North Kern State Prison, Kern Valley State Prison, California Correctional Institution, California Highway Patrol, California Department Adult Parole Operations, California Fish & Game, Bakersfield Police Department, Taft Police Department, Kern County Sheriff Department, Kern County Probation Department, Kern County Fire Department, California Fire & Forestry Department, Avenal State Prison, Corcoran State Prison, Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and US Air Force.

Our mission statement is join forces with our fellow comrades throughout the United States and bring it to the gridiron to raise monies for our local charity groups. The Falcons are a 501c3 non-profit organization since September 2006 and State tax except since October 2007. Fed Tax ID #56-2594545

National Public Safety Football League

The National Public Safety Football League is a union of public safety agency football teams located thought the United States. The teams are united in promoting a positive self image to the public by raising funds for charity through spirited competition. The player, coaches, and staff members of each of the teams don't play for money, but for the love of the game and the desire to help raise money for the various charities in the communities that they serve. Each team as well as the league are non-profit organizations.

The league is incorporated in New York State and is recognized as a not for profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service under the 501c3 statue.
